LA LÍNEA DEL MAR is a traditional stoned building house, two centuries old, located on the top of Trasierra, Ruiloba, Cantabria. With 4 apartments – most of them faced to the ocean- it has a small courtyard, partially covered to stay on rainy days, and closed to the house, a private parking (less than 100m ) One of the apartments is adapted for people with disabilities. Beside the main building we have an art workshop to offer ceramics courses or others and an upper floor with a nice exhibition.
Staying with us, you should find amazing cliffs, beaches, green fields with cattle and a blue ocean to enjoy your eyes and spirit: sunny days in summer, usually not too hot, and wild weather in winter, with wind and whited waves from a brave sea.
On the other hand, if you want to explore the territory sorrounded, you have an hour driving to get to Liébana, Picos de Europa Valley. To the East, on the way to the capital city Santander, you can go to Santillana del Mar, middle age village, Altamira cave and museum. 4 Km from Trasierra the village of Comillas y a perfect place to go shopping and visit lot of “bares” to taste wines and good food.
Located in front of the Cantabrian Sea and with a view of the Picos de Europa and the ocean, in a unique fusion. Green of meadows, blue of sea, and white of foam in the harsh days of winter.
Trasierra is located in a hill that visually dominates the Cantabrian Mountains and the coast, dominating the sea with cliffs within reach of short walks.
